Registration is CONFIRMED only on receipt of PAYMENT. BUM2009 is targeting a maximum of 200 registrants on a First-come-First-served upon payment basis

  4. Thanks Stephen Francis, for NPC’s support for BUM2009. It’s good there is interaction beween new and old media practitioners — yes, we in the 4th and 5th Estates are not mutually exclusive. In fact, many old media personnel are taking to Blogging (Rocky and myself included) and it can only portend good for both estates… hence the organisation of BUM for three years now. ~~ YL, Desi

  8. Dear all: BUM OC Treasurer last informed at about 3.00 PM, May 15 that Registrations were near the 180 mark, with a few who have not paid (or indicated they would pay at Reception on May 16 itself.)

    As this BUM2009 is on a First-come-First-served basis, those who turn up late but have paid will still be admitted into the forum Hall, which can maximally seat 170 people with comfort. Because of the anticipated greater response, the Organisers will register up to 200 persons but the 30 latecomers would have to “bear” with some inconvenience to be seated in the Verandah area. We seek your understanding.

    Those checking in after 10.30AM, wait for a break in the Forum session and then contact Sdri Helen Hoh assisted by fellow OC members, regarding Registration. Thank you — Chair, BUM2009 OC
